Nestled along the picturesque coastline of Florida is Palm Coast. With its pristine beaches, vibrant local culture, and delicious dining options, this charming town is just waiting to be explored. Let me take you on a journey through our favorite spots in Palm Coast, including go-to brunch spots, art galleries, local boutique shops, and more. Here’s your itinerary for a memorable 3-day getaway in Palm Coast, Florida.
+ Day 1: Welcome to Palm Coast
Start your day with a hearty brunch at the Funky Pelican, located right on the beach. Savor their delectable menu while soaking in the breathtaking ocean views. Their crab cake benedict, is a crowd-pleaser, but I can vouch for their delicious omelets and mimosas. Cheers to vacation! After brunch, take a leisurely stroll along the beautiful Flagler Beach and explore a variety of local shops in the area, or head to the nearby Betty Steflik Memorial Preserve for a tranquil nature walk.
+ Day 2: Art and Seafood
On our second day in Palm Coast, we began our day with a visit to the Gallery of Local Art. This hidden gem showcases the talent of local artists, featuring a diverse collection of paintings, sculptures, and unique crafts. You may even find the perfect souvenir to commemorate your trip. Cameron and I picked up the sweetest wooden statue of a girl and her dog for our sweet girls back home.
After a day of strolling art galleries and long walks along the beach, I recommend heading to JT’s Seafood Shack, a seafood lover’s paradise. Indulge in their fresh catches, from succulent shrimp to flavorful fish tacos. JT’s laid-back atmosphere is the perfect spot for a leisurely meal.
While Cameron and I didn’t have time to explore the Washington Oaks Gardens State Park, I’ve been told this is a scenic must-do activity for your checklist. Discover beautifully landscaped gardens, unique coquina rock formations, and enjoy the serene beaches nearby.
+ Day 3: A Glimpse of St. Augustine
On your final day in Palm Coast, I highly recommend taking a short drive to the historic city of St. Augustine. St. Augustine is known as the oldest city in the United states and this charming area is often toured for its rich history and Spanish colonial architecture. Wander through the cobbled streets of St. George Street, lined with shops, galleries, and restaurants, or take an Old Town Trolley Tour to get the full experience. Trolley tours also include discounts to local museums and shops post-tour. Not only is St. Augustine the oldest city in America, but it’s considered one of the most haunted as well. If you want to take things to another level, opt for the Old Town Trolley ghost tour and don’t forget to take some extra time at St. Augustine Lighthouse. A lot of spooky experiences have been reported there!
3 days in Palm Coast, Florida, will leave you wanting more beachfront bliss with cultural exploration. From savory brunch at Funky Pelican to the artistic charm of the Gallery of Local Art and the seafood delights of JT’s Seafood Shack, this coastal town offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.
