Eye Shadow

For minimal eye glam that shines with a bit of sparkle this winter, my go-to is the Tartelette in Bloom Eye Shadow Palette. Start with the Charmer for a base color (including under the eyebrow), followed by Flower Child along the crease. Finalize your look with some Funny Girl shine along the crease and blend to the outer corner of your eye.

Eyeliner

I like to use eyeliner that will compliment my natural eye color, which is why I opt for bareMineral’s Mineralist Lasting Eyeliner collection. Unfortunately, the olive color I use (Agave) seems to be discontinued, but they do have a selection of colors ranging for Aquamarine Blue to more traditional black and brown options. For those with olive green eyes like me, I’ll likely be opting for their Copper and/or Champagne colors to make my eye color pop.

Brow Sculptor

Similarly, I tend to opt for brow sculptors that will enhance my natural arches and fill in my brows for a full, defined look. That’s why I opt for the bareMinerals Brow Master Sculpting Eyebrow Pencil. During winter, my hair color resembles a rich warm brown, which is a great match for the Chestnut Brown Master Pencil. All brow pencils come complete with a eyebrow brush for blending.

Mascara

IL MAKIAGE sent me a sample of their newest mascara and I have to say, it does not disappoint. The IL MAKIAGE Black Card Mascara Loft Curl & Lengthen does exactly what it describes… maximizing your lash length and curls. This is the perfect mascara for a minimalist makeover.

Coverage Concealer

Let’s be honest. We all want to look like our brightest, freshest, selves. Long nights and stressful days can make that difficult sometimes. That’s where BarePro Full Coverage Concealer comes in to help. Whether it’s a blemish or dark circles that appeared overnight, this full coverage concealer will do the trick. Make sure to ask a professional makeup artist to match your winter skin tone.

Base Foundation

For full coverage, once again I’ll opt for IL MAKIAGE’s liquid foundation. This foundation is great for evenings out and special occasions, giving your skin a bit of a glow up. It’s a great way to elevate your look without going over the top. That being said, I often use powder foundation for a more natural day-to-day look. My shade? WOKE UP LIKE THIS. Take the IL MAKIAGE online quiz to find your shade.

Powder Foundation

I often switch my powder foundation between two brands, bareMineral’s Original Loose Powder Foundation and Neutrogena’s Mineral Sheers Loose Foundation. Again, I recommend going in-person to match your winter color to the best bareMinerals’ foundation color possible for you. As for Neutrogena Mineral Sheers powder, you can find options available at your local CVS.

Blush

Last but not least, let’s put a bit of life back into those cheeks with Jane Iredale’s PurePressed Blush. I opt for the Copper Wind – Peach Apricot color, but again, see what color matches best for your skin tone. Enjoy your winter glow up this winter!
